It’s Official: Disney Plus Means You Never Have to Leave the House Again

Posted by Justin Grainger on

Disney Plus is here and no one will ever be the same. You can finally donate all those DVDs and BluRays to the thrift store because there will never be a need to pull those out again. All your childhood favorites are now available at the touch of your fingertips or the click of a button, and in case you wondered whether or not that would be weird: it’s not. You’ll immediately forget all your troubles as you’re transported back to the worlds that animated your childhood imagination. Here at Kids Halloween Costumes, we’ve been waiting for this for months, and we’ve got our first dozen family movie marathons all planned out. OK, make that two dozen. Here are just a few of our ideas so you and your kids can join in on the fun, too:

101 Dalmatians

Maybe you’re a dog lover, or maybe you’re just a sucker for a toddler in a Dalmatian costume. Either way, this movie is first on our list because the whole family can dress in comfy clothes and still be outfitted to the nines in our signature 101 Dalmatians inspired collection. And if you don’t own an adult onesie yet, that’s a tragedy because they are even more astonishingly cozy than wearable blankets. We know, we know - you’re probably more focused on the kids’ wear - but once you have this hanging in your closet you’ll have finally arrived as a parent.

Mary Poppins

What’s that you said? You can’t believe we have Mary Poppins costumes in stock for the whole family, too? Yes, and this collection doesn’t have to be just for family movie night or your next costume party. Haven’t you ever dreamed of cosplaying with your significant other as Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke in this classic film? Well, now you can - and for a fraction of the price a cosplay outfit of this caliber would cost anywhere else. Even if you can’t carry a tune, you won’t fail to inspire admiration and respect in children and cosplayers alike. Hey, maybe these costumes can even help you more easily motivate your kids to do their chores around the house.

Ducktales The Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp

Perhaps one of the most nostalgic screen experiences you had as a child wasn’t at the movie theater at all: it was watching Huey, Dewey, and Louie get up to their antics and push the limits of how much plot complexity the 7-10 year old viewership could handle in a Saturday morning cartoon. Surely you remember that your favorite grandnephews of Scrooge McDuck also hit the big screen in the summer of 1990. Now you can share this classic with your kids until you’re all calling each other “cheapskate” and pretending to swim in piles of coins (pillows, anyone?). Plus, true to form, our Ducktales collection won’t break the bank and makes for a perfect low-key family movie night with masks for the tall to the small in your brood.
